False Cognates

No doubt there are plenty of lists of false cognates out there, but I thought I'd ask in this venue: what are some that you find way overused by your students (of any level)?

One that immediately comes to mind is "actualmente."

Perhaps it should be 'false cognates and other words that don't mean what you think they mean.'

In case the first post wasn't clear, I accidentally posted under my wife's name. She is not currently teaching Business Spanish..

"aplicar" as in "solicitar"

a couple of favorites:

-"papel" used for "ensayo"/ "trabajo"

-"realizar" used for "darse cuenta"
